    This is probably the last purchase you’ll need to make to protect the tip of your Garrett Pro Pointer, Pro Pointer II, or Pro Pointer AT.
    See the photos attached for installation. A firm press is all that is needed. The protector will stretch and slide over and protect the scraping blade under it.
    WHY BUY THESE TIP PROTECTORS?
    1st Reason:
    Best Price on EBay.
    2nd Reason If you are like me, you’ve tried tape, dips, and even purchased sheath-type protectors.
    While they all work for a while,
    none of them will last as long as a SINGLE one of these tip protectors
    .
    It’s quite likely, you may never have to purchase another pin pointer protector! I’d be surprised if you ever make it through one, let alone 2 of them! … and 4 of them, means you can’t go wrong. Definitely cheaper than dipping, taping, or buying other protectors, and removal leaves no residue!
    3rd Reason
    : During testing, I used one on my own Garrett Pro Pointer AT for more than four months, before being satisfied with the quality. These are ORIGINAL Tip Protectors on Ebay.  Not a copy-cat seller.  Best quality out there, because of ACTUAL testing. Not just copy-cat selling.
    4th Reason: A Year Later…
    The one I trial tested shows almost NO wear at all, even after thoroughly using it for thousands of recoveries. I even “dig” more confidently with the tip in the dirt. The material will tend to take on the shape of the object, and stiffen slightly, but this is normal for the material and no cause for concern.
    5th Reason:
    The protector is solid enough that you will be able to swirl the dirt around, move it aside, and dig in soft earth while looking for your object, all without fear of wearing down the tip or scraping blade.
    NOTE!!
    These can be installed on a worn device to prevent any further wear! While the best fit will be on a new device, even with a worn tip the product can be pressed snugly against the end during install.
    And for those interested in why these are the best on eBay, I had these manufactured after I couldn’t find a protector that worked for me.  These are not manufactured by Garrett. I’m a hobbyist who is helping other hobbyists. I’m not a copy-cat seller. I’m the original, I tested these personally, went through MANY prototypes, and found the BEST solution and product. Cheers!
