The
C1-PLL ® lite
series of Phase Lock Loop C-band LNBFs provide performance without the price tag. Want the development expertise, excellent performance and customer support which is provided with all Titanium Satellite products? Introducing performance on a budget! The C1W-PLL lite Wideband version has great PLL performance and a lifetime warranty like its big brother, the C1WPLL, but it is built using a light cast waterproof case and includes standard hardware. The unit is built from similar components, but not presorted to the higher specifications of the C1W-PLL. A very good choice for reception of weak satellite signals and high FEC S2 channels. Designed to meet the requirements for home viewers, it is cost-effective and reliable.
The C1W-PLL lite polarity is voltage switched for receiving horizontal / vertical linear or right / left circular (with the included dielectric slab). It includes a flat scalar designed for prime focus dish types and fits the industry standard 68mm scalar mounts and the optional Titanium conical scalar for offset type dishes.
PLL LNBFs have a crystal oscillator that will remain tuned exactly on frequency. The C1W-PLL “lite” LNBF frequency is stable to +/-100KHz and typically the operational drift to be within +/- 50KHz. Legacy type DRO type LNBFs lose performance over time as the mechanically tuned frequency slowly drifts until one day, the receiver is no longer capable of tuning the satellite channels. PLL LNBFs do not rely on a mechanical tuning slug that may shift off frequency due to physical damage or aging.
What is the difference between the C1W-PLL and the C1W-PLL lite models?
The C1W-PLL lite is built using the same components as the C1W-PLL, but the lite model PCBs are not presorted to the higher specifications. The amplification may may not be as flat across the band, noise may be higher, frequency may not be as stable, etc. The lite model is constructed with a lighter weight housing and includes standard off-the-shelf type hardware. The lite models have great PLL performance, but it cannot be guaranteed to perform as well as the factory presort for the C1W-PLL models. The C1W-PLL model PCBs are tested for premium specification compliance and highest performance.
